"I've done quite a bit of recording now over here in my adopted home base of Malmö, Sweden. Recorded in 2015, 'BIG BLIND SPOT' featured two new players I'd never recorded with: LASZLO DANCS (bass) and ANDREAS ERIKSSON (co-producer, guitars, drums).
Laszlo had been a bass player with the JON STRIDER BAND since 2012. I thought it was high time I got him on a Strider record. He rose to the challenge, and kicked ass on this country recording. He can play anything, and I'm grateful he'll play this country stuff so powerfully and soulfully. He GROOVES that root and fifth big time!
...And then there's Andreas! When I first met him, I heard what he'd been recording (Crazy Licks, Northern Cowboys, other artists) and I knew I had to work with him! Talent with a Capital T. He has gone on to tour, record and co-songwrite with the international rock band, Inglorious, based in the UK.
